This is quite funny. Two different people e-mailed me with spams from the SAME woman! She responds to personals ads with a glamorous photo... and after some very spammer-like conversation, she invites people to her own ad, which is (of course) not free. You have to pay $5 to read more about her. Gee, isn't that lovely. And notice how she says she's away for a week (two weeks in one of the spams), so she won't be able to respond right away...which is a great excuse to use if you never intend on responding at all. And I'm sure "she" doesn't. She repeats herself a couple of times in a very suspicious way in one of the mails, and her overall tone is VERY common to spammers. You know, the old "Hi, I'd like to meet you! I'm new to the Internet, tee-hee! Want to get to know me? Come to my webpage and pay five bucks! Like, it's so easy! Come on, big boy!" What a crock. This is obviously some guy spamming on behalf of his own personals site. I'm thinking of reporting this "Samantha" to @home.com along with a copy of the e-mails and seeing what they have to say.... OK, there's a slim chance that this chick is real. But I have huge doubts!! Both mails are here for your reading discomfort. :)
